About Us

Federation of Airport Media Owners (FAMO), was registered with the Registrar of Societies, Under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 Under No. 1569 of 2019, in New Delhi. It is an apex body that brings together all Media Owner Organisations in the Airport Out-Of-Home (AOOH) space in India.

It works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of the airport & airline media industry through collectively addressing this industry segment’s issues when dealing with the concerned government authority, brand advertisers and specialist agencies. FAMO also endeavours to build industry wide awareness of the airport media’s competitiveness and diverse offerings to brands. FAMO is a non-government, not for profit, industry-managed organization which plays a proactive role in the overall development of the Airport Out Of Home (AOOH) industry.

Our Vision

FAMO’s vision is to act as a catalyst between the government, media agencies & brand advertisers, and members of the federation in order to transform itself into a force to reckon with on matters affecting the Airport Out-Of-Home industry in India.

FAMO has a present membership of 15 Media Owner Organizations having exclusive advertising rights at 60 AAI-operated airports across the country. FAMO also works towards developing an ecosystem to make airport media more innovative and efficient so as to gain competitive edge over other media mixes.

FAMO works closely with different stakeholders to elevate the industry by accelerating the tempo of its constant growth. It endeavors to articulate the genuine and legitimate interests and concerns of its members to ensure balanced growth in the AOOH space.

Our mission is to understand prevailing economic conditions, envisage the future to develop a healthy and competitive business environment in the AOOH industry.


01 Grow.

Keep close contact with the Marketing & Advertising fraternity to grow overall share of Airport Out-Of-Home industry

02 Represent.

Represent the industry in all matters nationally and internationally in relation to Government authority, Brand Advertisers and Specialist agencies

03 Develop.

Provide a common platform where members meet informally through Councils / Committees, Seminars, etc. to exchange views on various developments in AOOH space

04 Protect.

Protect and promote the common interest of media owners in AOOH space

Do all other things as may be considered by the Association to be incidental or conducive for the benefit of the Airport Out-Of-Home (AOOH) Industry
